Movie Thoughts

The video was definitely effective because it showed perfect examples of online bullying. If I were a student victim to cyber bullying I don't think I would report it because it is a low form of degration, and may be embarrasing to admit that I got myself into something so obsurd.

Domain Names

My domain name would definitely be a dot com as in www.just4fun.com because it relates to a project I've been working on since sophomore year in high school. Just for fun is dedicated to the upbringing of teens and young adults who are finding what they love in life, whether it be basketball, baseball, hockey, skateboarding, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, art, music, and being adventurous. Justforfun relates to those who know they do it because they love what they do, it appeals to them for a reason, and they become the best at their professions because it is the most fun thing to them. Through all the hard ache and suffering everyone gets where they want to be by having a good time doing it and not getting rained on in any type of weather. This is JustForFun.

2 Sites that suck

Any site that has to deal with celebrity gossip. So this week I choose to identify two celeb websites that absolutely suckkkk!

1. Perez Hilton - This site is the worst because the dude that runs it just talks a lot of crap about celebs he barely knows or cares for. Its a huge waste of time. I would say check it out but its not worth the time.

2.  E! - This website is dedicated to the infotainment department. Meaning its not news, but information for your entertainment. When you break it down, this kind of stuff is just a waste of humanities time....E! SUCKS!

Proposal

Complex Magazine has made an impact on many urban cultures whether it may be mens fashion, sneaker collectors and followers alike, musicians, gamers, and artist of all sorts. Since 2002 when Marc Ecko founded Complex, they have been one of the main contributors in supplying information for these sub cultures in urban areas around the country. The bi-monthly magazine has much to offer and has many followers, some of them being big name artist such as Kanye West who is also an assiciate editor for the magazine. As this company grows more and more, I noticed that there wasn't any credibility on Wikipedia for the video department who has supplied thousands of viewers around the company with in depth articles and features that only help sell more copies on the streets. As a former intern my proposal is to contribute to one of the largest mens fashion magazine websites, and to update on how much of an impact Complex has made to the internet.
